Farmers in the 18th century had little land therefor they
did not need large barns for their cattle. The people lived
in a low cottage under sheers roof cap. A family with 4 or
more children used to live in such cottages. In later times
these well hid cottages often served as hide-aways in the
second world war.
During the last few years these cottages are wanted as holiday
cottages because of their caracteristic and traditional cottage
style. The models now fabricated are maintenance free because
holidays are a time to relax.
